Garden Design Project In Bramhall
This garden design project was created for a customer in Bramhall to show how they could re-imagine their existing garden to create a more welcoming space with zones for different uses throughout the year.

Bespoke Garden Design Solution
One of the biggest concerns with this garden was the uneven layout, which we reworked in our garden design to make better use of the space. We changed the layout of the garden to incorporate the varying levels into the garden design, creating separate zones and offering more space for seating and entertainment features.
We installed a flowing timber retaining wall throughout the garden to add structure to the layers as well as additional visual interest.
Key Features
This was an in-depth garden design project, which featured various elements to create a functional and attractive outdoor space that is now ready for entertaining and relaxing throughout the year. The key elements of this garden design include:
- Fence painted black with colourful planting in front for contrast and seasonal appeal
- Paving angled at 45 degrees to match the conservatory
- The lawn has been cut back to create a larger dining and entertaining area
- Side access improved with a new retaining wall and shed space
- Steps leading to a central lawn, gravel garden and raised corner seating area to complement the uneven layout of the garden
- Steel pergola with climbing plants to form a natural canopy, offering screening and shelter in seating areas
- Gravel garden with stepping stones to a feature acer and additional bench seating
- Multi-stem silver birch and water feature for year-round interest
Finished Result
The design has created a balanced garden that provides plenty of seating, planting and focal points. The space feels private, practical and enjoyable from every angle, providing many years of enjoyment to our clients.
